Byhaw Military Operation Group, military operation group under the Byhaw Underground Rajon Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus.
Partisan formation that operated during the Great Patriotic War in the invaded territory of Byhaw, Kirawsk, and Magiliow rajons of Magiliow Voblasc and Ragachow Rajon of Gomiel Voblasc.
Also, it is the name of the command echelon of this formation.
It was part of the Magiliow Partisan Formation.
Formed in July 1943 in Byhaw Rajon by the Resolution of the Magiliow Underground Voblasc Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus and by the Order of the Magiliow (Voblasc) Military Operation Group on the basis of the 810th, 425th, and 225th Partisan detachments of the disbanded 11th Byhaw Partisan Brigade and 152th Partisan Detachment. In July, the 820th Detachment was formed, in August, the 830th one. In October, the 810th Detachment was expanded into the 810th Partisan Regiment, 425th Detachment, into 425th Partisan Regiment, and 152nd Detachment, into 152nd Partisan Regiment.
On February 24, 1944, the Byhaw Military Operation Group, consisting of the 152nd, 425th, and 810th regiments, the 225th, 820th and 830th Independent detachments (total 3,554 people) united with the Red Army.
The military operation group leadership were secretaries of the Underground Byhaw Rajon Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus, i.e. Je. Ts. Andrejenkaw (July — November 1943), F. P. Padalian (November 1943 — February 1944); commanders were F. P. Padalian (July — November 1943), I. P. Fiedziachenka (November 1943 — February 1944); headquarters chiefs were I. P. Fiedziachenka (July — November 1943), I. B. Rutman (November 1943 — February 1944).
