Asiˈpovichy ˈMilitary Opeˈration Group

Asipovichy MOG, Military Operation Group led by the Asipovichy Underground Rajon Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus.

This partisan formation operated during the Great Patriotic War in the invaded territory of Asipovichy and Babrujsk rajons of Magiliow Voblasc, Chervien and Puhavichy rajons of Minsk Voblasc.

Also, name of the command body of this formation.

It was part of the Magiliow Partisan Formation.

It was formed in July 1943 in accordance with the Resolution of the Magiliow Underground Voblasc Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus and the Order of the Magiliow (Voblasc) MOG on the basis of the 210th, 211th, 212th, 213th Partisan detachments of the disbanded 1st Asipovichy Partisan Brigade. In July 1943, the 214th and 215th detachments, in August, the 216th Detachment were formed. In November 1943, the 309th Independent Detachment were included.

On June 28 — July 3, 1944, the Asipovichy MOG (with 1,854 members) joined the Red Army.

Military leaders of the MOG were secretary of the Asipovichy Underground Rajon Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus R. M. Vajtsiankow; commanders were M. P. Karaliow (July 1943 — March 1944), I. B. Gniadźko (March — May 1944; acting), V. V. Glotaw (May — July 1944); headquarters chiefs, i.e. A. A. Niakhaj (July 1943 — January 1944), F. D. Lashkievich (January — July 1944).

Commander of the MOG M. P. Karaliow was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
