Kirawsk MOG, Military Operation Group led by the Kirawsk Underground Rajon Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus.
Partisan formation that operated in the invaded territory of Kirawsk, Klichaw, Babrujsk, and Ragachow rajons.
Also, name of the command body of this formation.
It formed part of the Magiliow Partisan Formation.
It was formed in July 1943 in accordance with the Resolution of the Magiliow Underground Rajon Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus and the Order of the Magiliow (voblasc) MOG on the basis of the 537th, 538th, 100th Partisan detachments and the Kirawsk Special Detachment (later, the 539th Detachment) of the disbanded 9th Kirawsk Partisan Brigade. In August 1943, the 620th Detachment (later, the 620th V. I. Chapaev one; in January 1944, it was relocated to Klieck Rajon and became part of the Baranavichy Southern Zone Partisan Formation) was included in the Kirawsk MOG. In September 1943, the 540th Partisan Detachment was formed. In October 1943, the 537th Detachment was expanded into the 537th Partisan Regiment, in June 1944, 539th Detachment, to 9th S. M. Kirov Partisan Brigade.
On June 27, 1944, the Kirawsk MOG (with 2,986 partisans) joined the Red Army.
The leadership of the MOG included secretary of the Kirawsk Underground Rajon Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus G. L. Komar; commander S. I. Sviryd; headquarters chiefs were D. T. Ignatsenko (July — August 1943; died), V. D. Savkin (August — December 1943), A. A. Viazelshchikov (December 1943 — June 1944).
