Bieraziˈno ˈMilitary Opeˈration Group

Bierazino Military Operation Group, military operation group under the command of the Underground Rajon Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus.

Partisan formation that operated during the Great Patriotic War in the invaded territory of Bierazino, Klichaw, and Bialynichy rajons, Magiliow Voblasc.

Also, it is the name of the command echelon of this formation.

It was part of the Magiliow Partisan Formation.

It was formed in July 1943 in Bierazino Rajon by the Resolution of the Magiliow Underground Voblasc Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus and the Order of the Magiliow (Voblasc) Military Operation Group on the basis of the partisan detachments, i.e. the 120th one, 130th one, 340th one, and 345th one, which until May 20, 1943 were part of the 3rd Bierazino Partisan Brigade. In September 1943, the 345th Detachment was transferred to the Brest Partisan Formation. In October 1943, left by the 345th Detachment, 63 partisans and the group of partisans from the 14th Ciomny Lies Partisan Brigade formed the 346th Detachment.

On July 2, 1944, the Bierazino Military Operation Group consisting of the 120th Partisan Brigade and 130th “Pomsta” (revenge) Partisan Brigade, the independent detachments of the 340th and 346th ones (which totalled 1,718 people) joined the Red Army.

The military operation group leadership were secretaries of the Bierazino Underground Rajon Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus, i.e. I. P. Sakalowski (July 1943 — April 1944), K. A. Baranaw (April — July 1944); commanders were S. A. Jarotski (July — August 1943), Ts. K. Kruk (August 1943 — July 1944); headquarters chiefs were G. I. Georgievskij (July — August 1943), K. A. Artsiushyn (September 1943 — July 1944).
