Monument to the Jewish inhabitants of the village of Antonawka killed by the Hitlerites, in the agrotown of Maliacichy, Krychaw Rajon, Magiliow Voblasc.

Anˈtonawka

Village in the territory of Krychaw Rajon, Magiliow Voblasc, destroyed together with the inhabitants by German Nazi invaders during the Great Patriotic War.

It was located in the Maliaсichy Rural Council. Before the war, 115 people had lived in the village.

In September 1941, the Hitlerites killed the inhabitants (92 people), burned the village (22 homesteads).

It was not revived after the war.

In 2004, a stele was raised at the burial place of fascism victims. In 2017, a monument to the inhabitants of Antonawka’s Jewish nationality who were annihilated by the invaders was opened in Maliacichy agrotown, Krychaw Rajon.

The village is immortalised in the Hatyn memorial complex.
